My grandmother loves nothing more than to bring her eleven (yes, eleven!) children, their spouses, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together to celebrate a wedding, birthday, or holiday. She taught me that bringing people together celebrates your relationships with them, shows them how important they are, and underlines that you love them. Because of this, I love gathering people for an event. The details and intention that go into a celebration show your guests the significance of the day. This is the part of planning I love most – gathering elements and design that reflect your style and say to your guests, “This day is special.
