My destination wedding was seamlessly executed and the process was throughly enjoyable because of Mariela’s magnificent coordination. She has a wonderful way of making you feel confident during the process because she quite literally has every detail mapped out perfectly. My initial email to Mariela was for partial planning and wedding coordination and never having planned a wedding, been to many weddings, or planned anything to this scale before, I was in need of direction. Mariela responded to my first email within one hour and within one hour and a half we were chatting on the phone. My first interaction with Mariela made my heart flutter as she could perfectly articulate my intricate vision when I told her my dreams. We decided to hire a wedding planner coordinator for two reasons, the first was to have a pro on our side that could help us do what we had never done, which was plan a wedding, the second reason was to have a person at the wedding that would act as a firewall between problems and a good time. The best person for this job is Mariela Fernández of Etéreo Events. Mariela is friendly, organized and very experienced. She has an arsenal of vendors that she has vetted over the years. She gave us two or three options for each and we picked our favorite, it was that simple. The day of the wedding had some problems however, we were not aware of them until afterword. Behind the scenes, Mariela and her group contained and eliminated everything that would have distracted from the real reason we were there which was to get married and have fun. Thanks to Mariela both the planning and the wedding were enjoyable and low stress. It really was a perfect day!
